NWSMT QUALIFYING: Bohn Stays In Front At BGS; Captures Third Career Whelen Southern Mod Pole

WINSTON- SALEM, N.C. – official release — Sara Davis/NASCAR photo — Danny Bohn remained hot during Coors Light Pole qualifying picking up his first NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour pole at Bowman Gray Stadium during qualifying for the Strutmasters.com 199.

Bohn finished with a fast lap of 13.437seconds (66.979 mph) around the historic quarter-mile track. Tour points leader Andy Seuss was second at 13.512/66.607) and George Brunnhoelzl III third at 13.543 (66.455).

Rookie driver Bobby Measmer Jr. scored his best career starting spot to date in fourth and Jason Myers completed the top five.

Finishing sixth through 10th in qualifying were Kyle Ebersole, Cole Powell, Spencer Davis, Luke Fleming and A.J. Winstead.

The green flag is scheduled to fall for the race at 8:40 p.m.
