STATESVILLE, N.C. — A brand new Race Chaser Radio podcast focused on the New England region launches today. Mainly Modifieds, a podcast focusing mostly on modified divisions in the region, will cover the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Tri Track Open Modified Series and more from a busy racing scene. It will also cover some of the region’s top NASCAR Weekly Series short-track ovals and their championship battles.
Race Chaser Media founder Tom Baker will be joined on the show by well-known modified insider and Tri Track Open Modified Series Public Relations Director Kyle Souza, along with guests.
“Growing up at Oswego Speedway in the 70’s, the supers and the modifieds were huge to me. We have the Inside Groove supermodified podcast that we brought back last year. I’ve always wanted to do something that tied into the Modified division but have never had the opportunity until now,” Baker said.
“Working with Kyle to create Mainly Modifieds is going to be a blast, and it will fit right in with all of our other programming that Race Chaser Radio offers. It will be a weekly show spotlighting the various modified tours and drivers, but also cover other New England and Northeast divisions as well. We are both really excited to launch this new show. The first episode is a preseason preview and was recorded prior to the start of Speedweeks. It is available for download on most of the top podcast platforms by searching Race Chaser Radio and subscribing to the channel.”
“I’m excited to be able to team with Tom to launch this new show to cover a topic I have a deep passion for,” Souza, who also handles written Public Relations at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts, said. “The modified division reaches far beyond just the surface it shows and includes a group of hard-core racers that I am happy to be able to showcase. We’re looking forward to having a variety of guests.”
When each new episode is ready for download, it will be available exclusively by searching Race Chaser Radio on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Music, Tune In and most other major podcast platforms, as well as racechaseronline.com.
Those who follow Race Chaser Radio on their favorite podcast platform will receive automatic notification when new episodes appear.
