has been a certified raceaholic since his parents first took him to the Oswego Speedway in 1973 to watch the Supermodifieds run. He was five. He first turned his passion into his profession in 1988 when the local paper hired him as a motorsports journalist. he started his first radio show three years later and since then has been published in numerous newspapers, magazines and trade publications. He is the founder of Race Chaser Media and is enjoying his 32nd year of motorsports media work, hosting Lead Lap Radio, Inside Groove and the Racer Safety Resource Show and co-hosting The Inside Pass and Motorsports Madness along with his "Race Chaser Live" at-track coverage at a variety of races throughout the year and announcing two major national indoor go-kart racing events.
Was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he naturally fell in love with Indy Cars and NASCAR at a young age. He also turned his passion into his profession as he now works as a teardown specialist for NASCAR Cup Series team Levine Family Racing, where he dismantles Chris Bell's cars each week after they return from battle. . "Red", as he is known to most people, also loves other sports and spends time both in front of and behind the camera for a variety of area high school football broadcasts in the fall and winter in addition to his production duties with Race Chaser Media, handling both the Lead Lap Radio and Motorsports Madness weekly shows.
Relocated from his home state of Texas to Mooresville, North Carolina two years ago with his family in order to be closer to the pulse of the sport he loves. A former racer, announcer, promoter and hardcore racenut, Randy resurrected his podcast - The Inside Pass - with Baker's help and it currently airs through Race Chaser Radio's digital channel and on WSIC's family of radio and TV stations in the Charlotte / Lake Norman area of North Carolina.
Shares hosting duties with Baker for Race Chaser Media's flagship show Motorsports Madness, which airs live on Thursday nights but is syndicated on weekends worldwide to American Forces Radio, Sirius XM Radio (Dan Patrick Channel 211 - Saturday nights at 7 Eastern), over 30 AM/FM affiliates nationwide and all the top digital platforms with a total audience of over 1 million listeners weekly. Seelman began his media career with Race Chaser, nurturing the Race Chaser Online website into form before moving to Speed Sport where he currently oversees their Sprint Car and Midget website along with other journalistic duties. Seelman and Baker have been hosting Motorsports Madness now since 2013, the longest running show in the Race Chaser lineup.
Began his career with Race Chaser but since has spread his wings to a variety of other media work including NASCAR Home Tracks, Area Auto Racing News and his own website along with PR responsibilities at Seekonk Speedway, Thompson International Motorsports Park and various New England-based racing series. Kyle graduated from Roger Williams University with a degree in Journalism and is working on his masters degree as well. Kyle is the insider behind the Mainly Modifieds show each week with Baker and is very highly respected among his peers and the race teams he covers on a regular basis each season.
